Bending automation
The ARMA CNC Tube Bender kit works with the Baileigh RDB-250 to add three-axis CNC automation. Model tube and pipe projects in CAD and fabricate them quickly and accurately with a CAD-driven bending workflow.
It is intended as an affordable automation tool for individual builders, medium-sized businesses, and industrial manufacturers working with complex tube structures.




Compensation and accuracy
Different stock materials can have different springback rates. The ARMA workflow is designed to measure and compensate in place instead of relying only on preset correction values.

ADS compensates for radial growth and the way tube length changes through a bend, helping the finished part match the software-generated design.
Current product information places bending accuracy approximately in the range of 0.1 degrees, depending on material, setup, and operation.
Operating range
The bender is designed to bend metal tube and pipe from 1 inch to 2 inches diameter with wall thickness up to 3/8 inch. Square tubing is not supported by this product.

Connected tube fabrication
ADS can generate notch profiles for intersecting tubes, including tabs on one part and corresponding slots in the connecting part. The result helps parts fit in the correct location and reduces the jig scaffolding needed for complex structures.
Model the tube-frame geometry in ADS or import compatible third-party CAD geometry.
Create bend programs, bend markers, notches, tabs, slots, and part information from the same project.
Use the prepared tube parts to make alignment clearer and reduce manual trial-and-error during assembly.
